Believe

Lisa has been doing a great job with this blog. I desided to finally make a contribution. I made this cute sign for Christmas at my Relief Society Super Saturday. It was very easy.
  • Cut out the letters B E L I E V E on thick black paper using a Cricut (if you don't have one then you can just trace the letters and cut them out). It is fun to make them different sizes.
  • Use different sizes of blocks of wood that will fit your letters and paint them black.
  • Cut out 7 rectangles from Christmas themed scrapbook paper. One to fit each of your blocks.
  • Mod Podge the rectangles of papers onto your blocks. Let them dry.
  • Put mod podge on the back of your black letters and but on blocks. Then mod podge over the entire surface.
  • Once done and dried embellish the letters like this:
B: tie a ribbon around the block
E: Put on some Christmas Holly cut out of green
scrapbook paper. Used red stick balls for berries.
Then put green glitter down the middle of leaves.
L: Nothing
I: Put white glitter on my white stripes.
E: Put 2 red dots on bottom of E.
V: Using glue dots, but on a metal star.
E: Tied ribbon around.

I must give credit for this idea to my friend Leslie. She came up with the idea and this is my copy.
